I was born in Kampala, Uganda but my adopted home has been in the United Kingdom since the age of 8yrs. Balancing full time work as a personal assistant in an academic institution of Imperial College with raising three children as a lone parent has been challenging but has its own rewards (of which I’m yet to enjoy!).
I am a non-practicing general clinical nurse, but remain passionate about health and view myself as a vessel of facilitating information/skill-sharing pertaining to health-related issues and enlightening persons on how to access services or organisations that avail them an improvement on their lives.
The many years of learning to rely on no other but myself to survive the challenges my life’s journey unveiling could hold the key as to my opinionated stance on issues. I chose to take lessons of all that happens in life and make the best of all situations at play.
My dream is of operating an economically viable mobile health unit to serve persons in rural communities of Uganda who cannot travel to stationed health units.
